The Stonegate Homes Board of Managers is comprised of volunteer community members, neighbors and trustees with insight into the maintenance and enhancement of the Stonegate Homes Community.

THE BOARD

MATTHEW ANDRIOTIS
President

Goals and Objectives: Energy Efficiency, Lower operating cost, Maintain mechanical and electrical infrastructure and integrity. (Heating, AC, Ventilation, Plumbing + Electrical)


Community Assoc. Experience: Volunteered as church pianist and musical director for 16 yrs. Retired Volunteered musicals at nursing and senior homes. Currently pursuing passions as fine artist and musician.


Employment/Civic Organizations and Positions: Building trades (Pipefitters Local 274, journeyman) for 45 yrs, Retired. Data Center (top fortune 500 company) Mechanical HVAC Forman and Mechanical Engineer for 22 years, Retired. Data Center automation, software and controls Engineer, for 22 yrs retired.

DAN RICHTER
Vice President

Goals and Objectives: Reduce waste. Keep Community / Assoc. Fees as low as possible. Negotiate responsible contracts with vendors. Increase sense of community. Identify “point” people for various buildings to streamline addressing of issues.

Community Assoc. Experience: Assistant Property Manager C&R Realty, Fort Lee, NJ. Stonegate resident since 2011.

Employment/Civic Organizations and Positions: NYC Firefighter - 18 Years. Volunteer Firefighter, Mahwah NJ, 1996 - 2006 - Captain - President. Board of Elders, Powerhouse Church, Wycoff NJ, 2014 - 2017. Board Member, Winis of Refuge Haiti - 2013 - 2015

LARRY CHESTER
Treasurer

Goals and Objectives: Maintaining our condominium to always look its best as we move forward each year, and focusing on keeping costs down, applying good budgeting methods which always took priority in past years serving on the board.

Community Assoc. Experience: I moved into Stonegate Homes at Suffern in Spring of 1988. I previously served as a board member for Stonegate Homes for 24 years and during that I was your Treasurer for 20 years. Prior to Stonegate I had 3 years experience on the Board of Managers for Bon Aire Condo II. I am currently back on the board at Stonegate Homes to assist as of April 2020.

Employment/Civic Organizations and Positions: My current work includes 20 years experience as a company Bookkeeper, 33 years in condominium maintenance and 5 years as a College Proctor. Prior work includes 21 years in sales.

ZACHARY FERNANDEZ
Secretary

Goals and Objectives: Continue to maintain the quality of Stonegate Homes.

Community Assoc. Experience: Communication with residents, management companies and landlords resulting from line of employment.


Employment/Civic Organizations and Positions: Elevator Mechanic for OTIS elevator company.

ANDREA WESTERKON

I am a resident of Stonegate Homes for the past 26 years, my husband and I raised 2 sons in the Suffern School district. I have lived in Spring Valley and went to Ramapo High School.

My employer is RP Connor Elementary School where I am a Lunch/Recess supervisor, when I am not at school I also work for the Village of Suffern in the recreation department, have worked both positions for the past 20 years.

My board experience includes: PTA Vice President and Executive Board member of my schools union.

FRED SAUBERMAN

Goals and Objectives: I have been a devoted board member for 42 years; 17 as President. I have spent more time, energy & concern then you could know. Countless hours! I am devoted to Stonegate and want to continue serving.

Community Assoc. Experience: 17 years as President of Stonegate, also Treasurer, VP and Secretary.42 years on the board. Member of NYC UFT and Bronx special rep for guidance counselors.

Employment/Civic Organizations and Positions: Secondary school teacher and counselor - 40 years. College teacher at Bergen Community College - 10 years. Real estate agent. Chairman of Ramapo BOAR (Board of Assessment Review).

 

JACK BROWN

Goals and Objectives: To keep our community attractive and well maintained. To continue to maintain Stonegate one's strong financial position.

Community Assoc. Experience: Three years on the board of Stonegate 9. One year on the board of Stonegate Homes.

Employment/Civic Organizations and Positions: Currently employed by Avionexusa of Ramsey, NJ  Wind Turbine Power Generation. Retired systems engineer AT&T and Lucent Technologies.

College: business administration, accounting, computer sciences.  no degree. Owned and maintained multi-family housing in Paterson, and Hawthorne, NJ. Viet Nam Vet.

MARY GRACE RING

Goals and Objectives: Ensure that the best fiscal, operational and policy decisions for residents in the Stonegate community.

Community Assoc. Experience: 12+ years at a large healthcare/nursing facility participating in the management of financial oversight and project administration and compliance for facility and campus operations.


Employment/Civic Organizations and Positions: Over 25 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant to high level executives. Currently the Office Manager for 12 years at a large healthcare/nursing facility. I oversee all Life Safety/Utilities inspections for 12 buildings and manage the Capital Budget for the Plant Operations Department.

VINCENT NESOR

Goals and Objectives: Maintain/Improve cleanliness & safety of our property. Promote increased communication between the board / property management / Owner-renters creating a better overall experience. Work to increase the value of our property.

Community Assoc. Experience: Served as property manager for 3 buildings (800 apt total); managed applications, assisted residents with repairs/concerns, performed routine inspections of all properties.​

Employment/Civic Organizations and Positions: Employed as a Hotel General Manager for over 39 years. Oversaw all staffing, maintenance, housekeeping, customer service, sales and accounting.
